This project was so fun!
I had a pair of red hand-me-down American Eagle shorts. I have been keen on re-fasioning clothing lately. I hand painted little white hearts on the shorts with a small bristled paint brush, and they came out beautiful! have a look!

Pyrography
After seeing this a few times I figured I'd Give it a shot: Pyrography. Otherwise known as wood burning. I bought the pen at Michaels craft store for a little over 20 dollars. I did a few practice doodles on a scrap piece of wood. It is really cool! It takes a lot of patience though. I can tell there will be some fun pieces to be created in the near future!
Here are a few pictures of my practice doodles.

Mason Jar Lanterns
I Fell in love with the idea of these "moroccan" inspired lanterns. Since we seemed to have an abundance of mason jars at my house and some glass stain I got busy painting the jars. I have to admit, I needed to find patience for this project. usually when I start a project I want the end result that day, but this took 2-3 days to complete. Here are a few pictures, READ MORE for the how-to!

Safari Dress
I have a feeling that stamping clothing is becoming a hobby. I went over to goodwill this morning and found myself a pretty golden dress by H&M, and began stamping! This time I made cut-outs of giraffes and an emu for the sake of the safari theme.
I really love giraffes and i thought they when perfectly with the color of the dress too. You can see my other piece HERE.

I've been on a bracelet kick for a little while now. In my spare time i'll just pull out the beads and string and bust out a couple of these pretty little accessories.

Stencil Skirt!
I discovered this little gem here. I brought myself right over to goodwill in search of a white dress, instead I found this beautiful skirt by Ann Taylor for 8 dollars! my next stop was the craft store for the foam paper and fabric paint that I used for the stamp. This idea is very easy to do and the best part is, its custom made!

Re-Fashioned Bag
So after what I considered to be a "flop", I brought myself back to goodwill on the search for another bag. This time I found the perfect one. In lack of floral fabric I held off on pasting flowers on this one, and I'm really liking the way it looks without them!

Down Time
So After work today I was in such a lazy mood, playing draw something and words with friends was getting old fast. Just then a flash of creativity came over me. I decided to re-design a t-shirt. This was something that I tried the other day for fun, and to my surprise it came out really neat! I decided to try this on my Event Horizon shirt, and this is how it looks now!
For those who don't know, event horizon is my boyfriends band, to give them a listen just click "READ MORE"
